Description:
New Haven Farms is a non-profit organization that promotes health and community development through urban agriculture. We grow organic fruits and vegetables for those most affected by – or at risk for – diet-related chronic disease, thus contributing to the health and vitality of our community.

Members of the Yale community will help ‘wake up the garden’. The beds are cold and sleepy and in need of some TLC.

A few requirements for the day:
1. Please be sure to bring a water bottle
2. Wear close toed shoes
3. Be prepared for the weather at hand (if it’s going to rain, bring a raincoat and rain boots, if it’s going to be very hot or very cold please dress accordingly).

Team members should also be prepared to get dirty.  If you have work gloves feel free to bring them.
