Description:

2019 is the third year that Yale alumni of the Capital Region will support projects at Refugee and Immigrant Support Services of Emmaus (RISSE), an organization that helps refugees and recent immigrants transition to life in the Capital Region.

This year RISSE is replacing its playground, and Yale alumni in the Capital Region will help to build a shade structure with attached blackboard for the new playground, as well as freshen up walls in the main building with new coats of paint. If time allows, we’ll also do some gardening.

We’ll break midway for a potluck lunch - or you can bring your own if you wish. Join us as we fill a need in our community while meeting and catching up with fellow alumni in our region!
