Once again we return to the Sunday Breakfast Mission for our local Yale Day of Service.  For those of you who participated in the last two years, you know what good this organization does. The difference this year is that there is a change in the time:
1:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Yale volunteers will sort and organize canned goods and other food items.
Tom Erickson ‘71, will be your site coordinator again this year. Your President will hopefully be recovered from getting a new knee, and will be able to join you.
Sunday Breakfast Mission
The Sunday Breakfast Mission provides shelter for more than 280 homeless men, women, and children nightly; long-term substance abuse programming for 90 homeless and addicted men and women; community meals for over 200 men, women, boys and girls nightly as well as food boxes for over two hundred needy families monthly; and breakfasts for the homeless. The Great Thanksgiving Food Outreach provides over 1,400 families annually with large food boxes, turkeys, pies, rolls, and access to other services.
