Come support high school students who will be the first in their families to go to college.  Help lift the veil to help these students aspire to top colleges. Share how you expressed your talents, potential and proven performance during interviews and on applications (after all, you got into Yale!).  Explain your successes and lessons learned.  Whether you are the first or the fiftieth generation to go to college, become a champion to these new trailblazers and come serve at Virtually Side-by-Side!

This online service project will include a panel of 1stGen Yalies sharing their stories, followed by insights from interview experts, our Yale ASC Directors from Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., and finishing with small group breakouts with you, our Yale alumni, and the high school students.  The students attend  KIPP DC College Preparatory in Washington, D.C.
