San Diego, CA 92121

Please bring bucket, towel and squeegee if possible; wheelbarrow/shovels also needed. RSVP with those details to coordinator.

Join other San Diego Yalies to help with campus beautification projects (spreading rocks in planting areas, washing windows, etc.) at the San Diego headquarters of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). In addition to working on the outside of the building, we will also be offered a tour of the facility including their adaptive training center, watch an inspirational video of lives changed by CAF, and hear from one of their athletes in person.

It is the mission of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to provide opportunities and support to people with physical challenges, so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. CAF believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life. The facility showcases the mission of the foundation, honors athletes and their accomplishments, and serves as the location for educational programs, free adaptive classes and community education events.
