Description:
The Yale Corporation of Rochester is proud to participate once again in the Yale Day of Service, this year on Saturday, May 12th.  In its 10th annual iteration, through the Yale Day of Service, Yale Alumni Clubs from across the world give back to charities and organizations in need.  This year, the YCR lends a helping hand to the Nature Conservancy.

We will be clearing brush from trails and upgrading boardwalks. The upgrade will include replacing broken planks and adding a non-slip surface to boardwalks along mail trails to enhance the preserve experience and personal safety.  Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers.  Please bring work gloves and water.  The Nature Conservancy will supply sunscreen, insect repellent, and snacks.

In addition, please bring any unwanted but gently used clothing or other household goods as a donation to the Cameron Ministries.

We will be taking these donations right at the parking lot of the Thousand Acre Swamp, even in the event of inclement weather.
