Join us as we prepare and serve dinner to about 60 residents of Cross Roads House, the largest emergency and transitional shelter in the state of New Hampshire. Cross Roads House houses over 100 people on any given night, offering food, shelter, and a proven program that helps residents achieve independent and sustainable housing.
Volunteers will prepare dinner for about 60 residents of Cross Roads House, using ingredients that we supply. Starting in the afternoon we will put the various dishes together in the well furnished commercial kitchen. Then at 5:15 pm we will serve the meal to the residents. The staff take care of the clean up. The volunteers partake of the meal together after all the residents are fed.
Volunteers must be 18 years old and no longer in high school.
