Join us as we prepare and serve dinner to the residents of Cross Roads House, the largest emergency and transitional shelter in the state of New Hampshire. Cross Roads House houses over 100 people on any given night, offering food, shelter, and a proven program that helps residents achieve independent and sustainable housing.
Volunteers will plan and serve the evening meal, purchase the ingredients and prepare a hearty, healthy and home-cooked dinner in the shelter’s large and spacious kitchen. Cooking skills are not needed.  There are two servings, one at 5:15 for families and the other at 6:00 for adults. We have a tradition of providing musical entertainment during dinner, so if you sing or play an instrument, plan on joining in!
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and no longer in high school.
