9:00am to 11:00am
There will be ample parking at the Yale School of Nursing on the day of the event.
The Yale School of Nursing will hold our Yale Day of Service Project entitled Newborns in Need on May 11th, 2019. We will be packing supply bags for the new mothers at St. Rafael’s Hospital who are very much in need of material support. Newborns in Need has grown from a pilot started in Colorado by YSN nurse midwife and late Board Member Tina Burke to become a much larger program coordinated by the Outreach Committee of the YSNAA and hosted at YSN. We invite your participation either by ordering supplies to be sent to YSN for the packing party or by participating with us to pack the bags on May 11th.
An internet registry is set up to donate items directly. https://www.amazon.com/baby-reg/27A9L5VHXTE58
Our wish list includes items such as, gender neutral board books, onesie/body suits in preemie, newborn, 0-3 month, 3-6 month sizes, receiving/swaddling blankets, burp cloths, hats, and small bottles liquid baby wash. Diapers and wipes are being donated by a generous donor.
All items can be sent directly to the Yale School of Nursing addressed to:
