UPG and City of North Miami ask all volunteers to fill out releases.
Join your fellow Yale alumni as well as Stanford alumni in helping Urban Paradise Guild (UPG) to restore and protect environmentally sensitive land by working outside at the Arch Creek East (ACE) Environmental Preserve. The project will include: Invasive plant/tree removal; Prep for habitat restoration (Mangrove and Maritime Hammock); Mangrove and Coastal plantings.
UPG was founded in 2008 with the to bring back natural habitat and YDOS Miami has been working with UPG for many years.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle. Sunblock and bug repellent are encouraged. Project is family friendly for children over 10.
