Volunteers should dress appropriately for work in a food pantry (long pants, rubber soled shoes, hat unless they want to wear hairnets etc..)
West Side Campaign Against Hunger (WSCAH) is an emergency food and social services organization located on Manhattan’s upper west side. For the day of service, participants can take part in a variety of activities tied to the pantry including restocking shelves, organizing the fridge, sorting and bagging food and prepping the food pantry.
This is a kid-friendly site for children ages 7 and older.
