Description:
Give back to the community and get your hands dirty volunteering with the backdrop of an urban farm in the heart of Harlem. Dive into seasonally appropriate farm tasks including planting, weeding, watering, cleaning, harvesting, chicken care and composting (everyone’s favorite!). Designated tasks, tools and materials are provided for farm-based service projects. No special skills or qualifications are necessary! If you have special requirements, please inform us ahead of time so we can arrange accommodations.

CLOTHING
Wear pants, closed toed shoes, sun protection and bring filled reusable water bottles. If you have your own gardening gloves and gear, feel free to bring them!

RAIN?
Our farm will almost always be open during our scheduled volunteer hours, rain or shine! Please check our Facebook and Twitter pages if you’re unsure as cancellations will be posted through social media.
