Description:
Come help with Spring garden preparation in Common Ground’s urban farm: spreading compost, turning beds, transplanting, seeding and other chores. Common Ground’s mission is to cultivate habits of healthy living and sustainable environmental practices within a diverse community of young people, adults, and families – through an environmental charter high school, an urban farm, and community programs.

Wear closed-toed, sturdy shoes, and dress for outdoor work which may be strenuous. Gloves and tools provided. Bring a water bottle.

Common Ground is a center for learning and leadership, inviting people across ages and identities to connect to their urban environment, build community, grow into their full potential, and contribute to a just and sustainable world. We do this through our environmental charter high school, an urban farm, and community programs.
