Parking is available in our small parking lot or free street parking is available on Ashmun. Yale Health Plan (across the street from us at 55 Lock Street) has a parking garage that is free for the first 90 minutes.

Description: 
New Haven Reads’ mission is “to share the joy and power of reading”. New Haven Reads provides an environment where children and adults have access to free books and tutoring to increase their literacy skills and academic performance. 
 
Volunteers will help with sorting books in the New Haven Reads Book Bank, have an orientation to tutoring with their staff, and then, help with some one-on-one tutoring. 
 
Teenagers 16 & older and accompanied by an adult are welcome.
