Description:

National History Day is a nonprofit education organization that offers academic programs for 500,000 middle and high school students around the world each year. Participating states hold regional and statewide contests, sending winners to the national contest in College Park, Maryland. Yale alums are encouraged to contact their regional affiliate about becoming a judge for these inspiring, thorough, and meaningful projects. Talk with students, learn about their process, and pass on the values of your Yale education with this exceptional program.

MANY STATES HAVE MOVED THESE CONTESTS TO VIRTUAL SUBMISSIONS AND STILL NEED JUDGES. CONTACT YOUR LOCAL AFFILIATE FOR INFORMATION.

Site Coordinator:

Each state has its own program coordinator. Consider organizing a group of Yalies to judge a regional or statewide contest.
