The Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter (NSKS) is provides shelter and food to people in need, emphasizing dignity, self-sufficiency, and a community-wide ethic of caring. The Soup Kitchen where we will volunteer serves approximately 1,700 cooked breakfasts and dinners each week, and delivers food boxes to around 300 individuals and families a week.
Our service will consist of helping restock pantry shelves (including refrigerators and freezers) with donated food items; breaking down boxes; wiping down counter surfaces; mopping floors, etc. Please join us for a meaningful morning of connecting with fellow Yalie’s and helping neighbors in need.
