Description:
The Yale Day of Service is pairing up with The RightWay Foundation, a non-profit that guides young adult Foster Youth toward self-sufficient, stable lives through job placement and counseling.  Yale volunteers will help prepare transition-age foster youth for their first jobs and help teach them about budgeting, savings, and healthy spending.  Volunteers will lead small groups in a discussion on job-readiness and financial literacy.  (We will provide suggested talking points, so all you need to bring is yourself!) Friends and family welcome.

We are also seeking sponsors for the lunch we will be providing for our youth.
Come celebrate Foster Care Awareness Month and the Yale Day of Service by being part of an event that will give transition-age foster youth the knowledge they need to thrive in adulthood.
