Description:
The Yale Day of Service is pairing up with The RightWay Foundation, a non-profit that guides Foster Youth toward self-sufficient, stable lives through job placement and counseling.  Yale volunteers will help prepare transition-age Foster Youth for their first jobs.

Volunteers will lead small groups in a discussion on job-readiness.  Topics will include how to present yourself in an interview, workplace etiquette, how to bring your best self to the job, and more. (We will provide suggested talking points, so all you need to bring is yourself!)

Friends and family welcome.

We are also seeking sponsors for lunch and t-shirts we will be providing for our youth!

Come celebrate Foster Care Awareness Month and the Yale Day of Service by being part of an event that will give transition-age Foster Youth the knowledge they need to thrive in the workplace.
