At Drumlin Farm, you can experience life on a working farm and explore a wildlife sanctuary at the same time.
Volunteers will work with the Drumlin Farm Livestock Manager to renovate the poultry house, making a better outdoor year-round space for the chickens. We will be doing some heavy lifting, shoveling, and other light construction work. After we volunteer, we are invited to watch the pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, and cows in the farm yard; see how crops are sustainably grown; walk the trails explore field, forest, and wetland habitat; and observe resident owls, hawks, a fisher, and a fox in the native wildlife exhibit.
Children are welcome with adult supervision. All volunteers should prepare to get messy.
