9:00am to 12:00pm
Our group will meet at the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion and we will walk together to the Family Garden Pavilion to get supplies such as gloves and garden tools.
Yale Club alums will be enjoying nature in the city: projects range from weeding, mulching, and raking.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and activities and you must wear closed toe shoes! Please do not wear shorts, halter tops or clothing with references to alcohol, drugs or sex. Dress cool and comfortable.
Children ages 6 and older are welcome and encouraged to participate. A parent should be present for each of the younger children. The volunteer manager does a great job of making sure child-friendly chores are available, so if possible, when registering, let us know how many are going to be children.
Provided by Hermann Park Conservancy (HPC): gloves, tools, and a cooler of water with paper cups. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own tools or to donate tools as a means to replenish HPC’s limited supply.
