Hong Kong: Know your Plastics Recycling Education - May 5

Sponsoring Yale Group:
Yale Club of Hong Kong
Sunday, May 5, 2019
1:00pm to 4:30pm
43/F, Gloucester Tower, 15 Queen’s Road Central
Hong Kong

To those planning to participate:

1) We will need 4-5 folding tables to be used as recycling education stations that afternoon. Please let us know if you can provide a table.

2) Please bring your own water for drinking and a foldable chair or stool for sitting, if needed.

Did you know that plastic cannot biodegrade, and that all plastics ever produced still exist in some form on land or in the oceans?

The Yale Club of Hong Kong has cleaned beaches in the past. This year, we want to address the needs of our planet with education and knowledge. Help to spread the message of reducing plastics use and recycling properly!

Starting with an informative presentation by Ecodrive HK Co-Founder and Yale alum Sherry Fung, we will then organize tables in the Central district to provide education and outreach to the many domestic helpers taking their day off there. Families with children over age 6 are welcome to join.
