Description:
We are going to clean and repair our cemeteries!

Hebrew Burial and Free Loan and the Yale Alumni Club of New Haven are teaming up to clean-up our cemeteries for the Yale Day Service for Yale Alumni and HBFLANH. You do not need a Yale affiliation to register - just put ‘friend of Yale’.

We will be repairing, cleaning, and photographing our cemeteries.

We will be raising sunken stones and helping to ensure that the people buried here are treated with respect.

There will be light tasks, as well as ones for getting dirty.

Hebrew Burial and Free Loan Association of New Haven offers interest free loans and free burial plots to poor Jews in the Greater New Haven Area. We maintain two Jewish cemeteries in East Haven with over 900 graves.

Feel free to message us with any questions.

This is a Yale Sustainability Green Certified Event - ask us about how to lessen the environmental impact of our activities, or if you are interested in car pooling.

We are the last cemetery on Brockett Place. Parking is available.
