Description:

Kick your gardening season off right at the Gardens’ Spring Plant Sale! The Spring Plant Sale occurs every Mother’s Day weekend at Denver Botanic Gardens – this year’s features fifteen divisions including aquatics, fruits/berries/veggies, hanging baskets, herbs, houseplants, rock alpine, specialty succulents, summer bulbs and water-smart!

Volunteers will be assisting Gardens staff with tasks of varying intensity from greeting guests, moving and unloading plants, and managing sales. The plant sale opens to the public right at 8am; the Gardens asks that all volunteers check in between 7:15am and 7:30am Saturday morning. Breakfast, snacks, coffee, and training will be provided during this time before the sale opens.

Please register with the Denver Botanic Gardens at  to secure your spot. Once registered, please email Samantha Lichtin so you can be counted with the Yale group.

Volunteers get 10% off all purchases at the plant sale, and admission to the Gardens is free that day, so please feel free to invite friends and family to pick some veg and enjoy the Gardens in the afternoon!
