We will meet at our storefront, 2 blocks south of the Kedzie CTA Brown Line station. We will walk to the people spot site about three blocks away.

Description:

Territory is Chicago youth ages 14-19 building voice, vision, and agency through the practice of urban design in our communities. The people spot, titled “Bridging The Distance,” is a free public landmark where where neighbors can meet, have a conversation, or relax.

This May we will be installing our People Spot, a seasonal modular seating area designed and fabricated by our team for our neighborhood, Albany Park. Our team is youth led. Volunteers will work alongside and collaborate with our team to complete the installation. Physical labor and movement over uneven surfaces is involved.
