You can take the “Jump” bus to the BVSD area and walk back to the Thorne Nature Experience office. There is also plenty of parking. If you drive or bike from Boulder, go east on Arapahoe Ave. to 63rd St. traffic light and turn right (south), ignoring the “No Outlet” signs. Follow the Yale and Thorne Nature signs to our building.

Description: 
Volunteers will help with landscapting including trail repair, weeding, and beautification work at Thorne Nature Experience headquarters, Sombrero Marsh Environmental Education Center. Bird Banding demonstration and a bird walk with Dr. Thorne to observe waterfowl on the marsh will also be available.
 
Families of all ages are welcome and no special skills required.
