The event takes place at the Transfer Station in Wompatuck State Park.
The Cure SMA Walk-n-Roll is a fundraising walk for research into Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a degenerative neuromuscular disease and the leading genetic cause of death in infants. Yalies Silvia and Brian Murphy have organized this walk for 18 years, since the deaths of their first two children to SMA.
Volunteers will help with refreshments, t-shirts, and/or children’s games.
