Quantum House has a parking lot on site, and if that gets full, you can park in the Institute of Mental Health parking lot right next door.

Join us for a wonderful morning of activities at Quantum House, a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition.
We will meet at 9 AM for coffee and donuts and tour the House from 9:15 - 9:35. Then, we will be coordinating two activities for the residents - arts and crafts for the siblings of the children who are in hospital and brunch for all the 50-60 residents. Volunteers will be assigned to arts and crafts or kitchen duties. Glue stick collage is envisioned for arts and crafts. Please bring magazines that can be cut up. Paper plate crafts could also happen. Be prepared to be creative!
For the brunch, we will need volunteers to either bring casserole dishes, bagels, cream cheese, etc. to Quantum House to be reheated, and/or cooks to create on site. Much chopping of fresh fruit and vegetables will ensue. Please coordinate what food you wish to bring with the site coordinator, Lisa Huertas, so we have a balanced meal.
This is a volunteer assignment suitable for all ages as long as there is adult supervision.
We look forward to volunteering with you at Quantum House, where hope has a home.
