8:45am to 12:00pm
Parking is available in the park in the lot adjacent to and behind the park’s administrative office. Enter from the Asylum Street entrance and follow the road around to the parking lot behind the administrative building (not the Pond House).
Join us as we return to Elizabeth Park’s famous Rose Garden. We will prune, weed, and/or provide general care to a portion of the Rose Garden under the direction of park employees and staff from the Elizabeth Park Conservancy. We will initially meet outside the Park’s administrative office across from the Rose Garden at 8:45 and gather inside for a brief presentation about the history of the Park and the Rose Garden. Then, off to work using tools supplied by the Park or your favorite tools from home. Families with mature children 12 and over are welcome. Be prepared to get a little dirty! There is a strict limit on the number of participants, so book early to avoid disappointment.
