Join members of the Yale community as we rake the lawn, pick up sticks, and sweep the deck. We also cleaned this lot for Day of Service in 2014.
Wingspan Life Resources is a non-profit organization that offers residential care in group homes and in-home programs to adults with developmental disabilities. The Wingspan Life Resources mission is to help individuals who are challenged by ability, health, or age, and  to realize their own unique gifts, talents, and dreams. They fulfill this mission by providing individualized support services that promote personal choice, independence, dignity, and fellowship with the community.
  • Please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable, clean clothing.
  • The lot is 80x300.  They will supply lawn bags.
  • I (Rudy) will bring an electric leaf blower and hedge trimmer (and several outdoor cords, hoping they will reach); Wingspan is planning on supplying some leaf blowers and rakes but if you can bring a rake, a gas blower, or hedge trimmer, please let us know.  Again, it is a big lot.
  • As we bag, all bags will be left by the pine trees in the front yard or next to the garage.
  • Wingspan is planning on providing water.
  • Children old enough to do yard work are welcome.
Join us for an optional potluck open house lunch from 11:30am-1:30pm at a home in Kenwood, Minneapolis following site work.
The number at the house is 651-636-2983.
