We are now in our fourth year of bringing Career Explorations to East Side High School! Come share your career experience & life skills with inspiring high school students, many of whom are first generation and from under resourced families. The students are excited to have an “insiders’ view” to careers in business, education, arts, law, medicine & public health, engineering & architecture, computer science, theater & the arts, government, non-profits, and so much more! By sharing our stories, we help them connect their interests to college paths and possible careers as well as know needed skills for success.
Come as you are! We will provide a short briefing session before students arrive to guide you in your conversations. After the welcome overview with the students, we break into small groups in specific career fields and life skills. The students rotate during the morning session.
This is an incredible experience! Each year over 40 Yalies and our friends from many colleges & universities have a wonderful time giving of themselves and making a difference in the next generation’s lives.
“Once again thank you for providing our students and parents with this valuable information. We are completely committed to this partnership.” - Dr. Mario Santos, Principal, East Side High School
