Come help plant trees at one of URI’s sites in New Haven!
Urban Resources Initiative is a Yale University not-for-profit partnership that fosters community-based land stewardship and promotes environmental education. They are actively engaged in community forestry activities throughout New Haven, and one of their goals in partnership with the City of New Haven is to plant 10,000 trees throughout the City.
We will be planting eight trees along Prospect Street; come prepared for outdoor work and bring a hat, gloves, and a water bottle. Older kids are welcome.
