Building on the success of the last eight years’ Yale Day of Service partnership between the Yale Club of Central New Jersey and Morris Habitat for Humanity, all alumni, friends and families are welcome to help build a home for a deserving family. Habitat’s unique model of homeownership has proven to be a highly successful program in assisting lower-income households to purchase a home. Part of the way that Habitat achieves this level of affordability is by building the units almost exclusively with volunteer labor, and you can be one of those volunteers!
The Yale Club of Central New Jersey will provide lunch. No special skills are required, although volunteers must be 16 or over. Registrants will be given further details nearer the time.
