Description:

Calling all singers! Please join us for our second “Yale Day of Singing,” celebrating this special day for our community. The event, led by Yale Glee Club conductor Jeff Douma, is open to all Yale alumni singers and their singing friends and family. We will be learning and rehearsing a program of Spirituals, repertoire to be performed later this summer on a Yale Alumni Chorus trip where Yale singers will explore the historical context of this important and influential music genre. We have scheduled the event for the AFTERNOON so that all who are interested in a morning Yale Day of Service project can register for that as well, and then come share your stories and your voices with singing friends from across the region. Late arrival is acceptable. Music will be made available to registrants in advance.
