Description:
Join the nonprofit trails advocacy group Santa Monica Mountains Trails Council as we clear and restore the trails at beautiful Solstice Canyon. Work includes cutting back brush, clearing debris and filling erosion channels left by winter rains, and smoothing paths. You will work with non-mechanical tools like mcleods, loppers, and picks (tools and work gloves will be provided). This is a great opportunity to give back to the trails so many of us enjoy hiking and riding and help your under-resourced State Parks!

Bring your own work gloves if you have them, sunscreen, a brimmed hat, sturdy closed shoes, plenty of water, and a snack. Be aware that there may be poison oak at the work site; we will show you what to avoid.
