In honor of Foster Care Awareness Month, come help Foster Youth prepare for their first summer jobs.
The Yale Day of Service is pairing up for the fourth year with The RightWay Foundation, a nonprofit that guides Foster Youth toward self-sufficient, stable lives by providing job readiness, placement, and counseling.
On Saturday, May 13th, Yale Day of Service volunteers will help prepare Foster Youth for their first summer jobs. Volunteers can participate in a variety of ways, from signing in the youth participants to pairing up with another volunteer to lead a small-group discussion about workplace etiquette, interview preparation, and how to bring your best self to the job.
Come be part of an event that will give Foster Youth the knowledge they need to thrive!
