9:00am to 1:15pm
There are three locations as noted in the site description, below.
Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA) provides homes and supports for people with intellectual disabilities. CMA would be very grateful to have Yale volunteers help out with some projects at their homes, working side by side with the individuals who live in the homes. Projects include:
- 29 Sands Point Road, Port Washington, home to 3 women: stain fence
- Arleigh Road, East Meadow, home of 5 young adults: outdoor landscaping
- 165 Station Road, Kings Point: home to 12 middle age-elderly folks: vegetable garden, odd jobs
CMA is happy to host a barbecue lunch at our Kings Point home, following the morning of volunteering.
